fricking addicts always ruin everything. It takes a little willpower but opiate use does not have to result in mindless addiction.

I think I could EASILY become addicted to them. I took all 30(not at once)of mine after multiple hernia surgery a few years ago when I probably only really needed to take 15-20. Made me feel practically euphoric and absolutely incredible. After that never felt the need to seek out more or anything like that though, but glad there weren't more at my disposal. I've never been a big drinker or taken any kind of drugs.
It's amazing working at the hospital how high doses of this stuff doesn't even affect some people. Just 5 mg was plenty.

i had a 12 year run with Rx pain pills.... easy to do when they are free...

I got a csb, I acquired a big arse about half gallon jug of V-cut roche 10s during Katrina... well I finally found a place to rent in the back of Tiger land, I swear I had 1000s of them, my lame arse roommate got spooked and tossed the whole bucket in the ditch in the back of tigetland full of water when there was a big arse fight in our parking lot and the cops came around asking questions

Sounds like your plug fronted you the drugs which you then peddled out to your customers (while skimming some as a bonus for being the middle man)

you are right... it's not... it's shameful that that was my life every single day for over 12 years... and it all started with a legit prescription, that then led to me wanting to continue the party, so to speak...
but i will not allow my past transgressions to define who i am today... today, i am clean, i'm a great husband and father, and i have come a long, long way as a person, which wouldn't have been possible without what i've gone through....

i guess... i did a lot of skimming... a typical day was eating 20 or so hydrocodone (normally 7.5 or 10mg tablets)...
it's nothing i'm proud of, so don't take me saying this as some sort of badge of achievement, but i'm just telling you guys the honest truth as someone who's lived it...
ETA funny part is i was a fricking hard arse when it came to my customers and their narcotic prescriptions.... i mean like militant hardass about them... but part of me didn't want to see others become what i was at the time.... a depraved, desperate addict...

My ex wife was in a bad way. After the 4th stint thru rehab (over 2 years) and her coming home, stealing $40 from my wallet, and trying to say she was sober as she was falling off the couch I had enough. Seen that shite turn a beautiful soul into a thieving lying piece of crap with my own eyes.
