If that dumb count Casey Anthony can kill someone and get away with it I'm pretty sure I can

not suicide but the custody fight for my kids ranks up there as one of the hardest things i've experienced in my life from an emotional standpoint.

it didn't help that the crazy ex was off the deep end with no end to the allegations.

taught me alot.

How can a decent human being not want whats best for their own child?

Because most people aren't decent when it comes to child support or custody. Most people are only interested in what is best for themselves, and more often than not want to drag the other parent through the mud and make the kids hate them.

I don't believe this. The only way this is true is if you got married too quickly. How do you not know a personon is crazy before you get married? If they are crazy, signing a piece of paper and putting a ring on their finger doesn't trigger the cray.

So wrong. You have no idea.

I can understand wanting to kill a bitch over this. BUT, to punish the child is wrong. I know its someone else's kid, but anyone with a child knows that from the moment of birth, you knew/thought it was your child and you loved that child unconditionally. I don't get how you can just turn that off if you found out it wasn't yours. Not saying you should have to support it, sometimes doing the right thing isn't easy. But again, that child should not be punished because the mom and bio dad are whores. The dad who is forced to continue support should at least be given a choice.

I am still blown away that it was possible for the judge to not recuse himself.

because it's up to the judge whether or not to recuse himself. Things like this shouldn't be left up to a judge. Should be decided by other judges or a panel of them.

If someone tried to take my kids away I would go crazy. I don't think I'd kill myself but I would take drastic measures to get them back.

It's highly unfortunate that the kid's well being aren't thought of first (by the parents) in situations such as this.

So true. Even worse is that the kids are often used as a tool by at a parent to piss off the ex.

What state does your friend live in?

I know of some father's rights attorneys in BR.
