Depends what I'm drinking. Budweiser? 15-20. A 9-12% ipa like 5-6
Time frame also plays a part.

I feel like I'm different for this, but I can drink 7-8 typically and not feel buzzed or anything, but then I get to a point sometimes before and sometimes after that number depending on if I ate or not and I just flip and I'm drunk.

It would suck arse if it took more than 4 or 5 beers for me to feel a good buzz.

I'm a sipper and normally take 20-30 minutes or so to drink a beer if in a controlled climate and the beer doesn't get hot in ten minutes. I normally quite drinking before I feel anything doing this even if I drink quite a few. Now if I do this for 2-3 hours, one whisky neat will have me hammered.

Miller Lite, or Lagunitas IPAs? NorCal beers take less, for sure.

All of them. It takes all of them.

I can still put down a 12 pack twice a month and barely catch a buzz.
In my prime alcoholic days, 24 beers would lead to liquor.

Obligatory "about tree-fiddy"
If I drink a 6-pack of Andygator (my usual get drunk beer), I'm feeling pretty good. I rarely get drunk on just beer intentionally. I'm almost always drinking liquor if someone drags this twenty-something pawpaw out to the bars

I rarely drink anymore. 6 pack used to not do much (although I did feel it). I'd bet I can feel a buzz on 3 beers if I drank them sort of quickly.
I've also lost about 30 lbs since I used to drink a lot, so that plays a factor in getting drunk quicker as well.

Man y'all are crazy. 9 beers to feel a buzz. I feel guilty for 2 -3 every night.
That's just enough to change my preception and relax.
Even when I'm going hard it's 7 beers and a 2-3 liquor drinks over 6 hours. I hate the feeling of being sick, stumbling, that's not enjoyable. That ruins my night and next day. That amount is about where you would notice I was drinking.
