We're both working professionals, so we split everything pretty evenly. Take turns with laundry and cooking, whoever doesn't cook does dishes and cleans the kitchen, and we usually tag team other miscellaneous cleaning.

He’s a neat freak, so he does a lot. We split the general cleaning & do things as they come up. He tends to do do more dishes, because he insists if I’ve cooked. I do more laundry. He does all of the yard work.

My ex-H did none of it, so I got used to doing everything. It’s still hard for me to accept SO doing housework without feeling guilty that he’s doing it.

I do about 25% of the housework, 95% of the yard work and 100% of the homework with my daughter.

I enjoy cooking and yard work, she enjoys cleaning. So we do that. Pretty simple.

Nothing wrong with that. Everybody does it different, whatever way makes it work.

We both work full time so we split the house work. If I’ve had a busy/tiring week then she picks up some of the slack and I do the same for her on bad weeks/days. We don’t have kids and we both have similar salaries, so there’s no reason for thway household chores not be split.

I enjoy cooking, but I’ll finish up some clothes or dishes if needed.

He does his own laundry and cleans his bathroom.

Will sometimes help me clean the house if I ask for help.

I do almost all the cooking, half the laundry and cleaning. Due to my schedule I also take kids to all their Dr appts and such.

I cook, I'm better at it.

She cleans, because I'm lousy at it according to her.

Works out fine

I help with the dishes, mop and cook. Stuff like that.

She cuts the grass, cleans the pool and usually takes out the trash.

Same. It’s ridiculous. I just usually end up always cooking to avoid having to clean the kitchen for an hour after she makes some basic dish.

This makes me happy to read. I thought it was just me. Nice to know there are more of us.
