With all the sporting events fan bans and parades canceled, how long until the schools are next added to the list?

Expect announcements by Friday

I just don’t know once they close when they can justify reopening them. There would essentially have to be a large de-escalation of the virus which could take months

We were told today our school would probably close for 2 weeks and all varsity sports would be cancelled or postponed.
I’d imagine college baseball will be in the same situation.

I’d say July would be first big milestone.
Warm weather and spring blooming done.
We. Shall. See.

I'd be surprised if we don't start seeing schools and state offices closing next week.

According to the expert that was on the JRE podcast yesterday that would only cause more problems, according to him it wouldn’t be a good idea.

I have a feeling we are about to be told to make a plan for online schooling. This is insane. I have two kids out with flu right now. Numerous norovirus. Life goes on.

Great! So now a parent will have to take off work and stay home with the kids.....what happens then...oh yeah, said parent takes those kids all over looking for something to do.
Why cancel schools when there have been very few cases in children. I believe None in children under 15.

I think until the weather warms up, just how the flu disappears as the weather warms up

Theory is kids could transfer it around.
All I know is with a 16 month old kid there is no way I will accomplish shite at home until he goes to bed.

Do you know that children are being tested?
Just speculation on my part, but kids could be carrying the virus and transmitting it while asymptomatic

Our spring break is this week. I expect an email by Friday saying their break is extended for another week. If this continues I expect internet classes for middle & high schools. This is nuts.
