Idk. But my daughter got in safely after, so that’s all that matters. It’s great reading how much fun everyone has been having. It’s too bad nola can’t be like this in general vs dirty and crime. This is good for the city.

Exactly. My wife, daughter and two of her friends were there. They hung out in New Orleans all day and goofed around. Dinner and the show and had an absolute blast. They are at breakfast now before heading back. People here are just absolutely miserable.

Glad they had a good time! People forget there was probably a band or performer in their day that brought them joy.

I’ve seen some pretty gross idolization this weekend for this bitch.
Its so bizarre.
Regardless of what they claim, the Taylor obsession is beyond anything I've every witnessed.
I would understand it if she did anything meaningful, but her pop music aint that.

I don't have a hate for her but she needs to be called out for her bullshite ticket prices comments. She complained about them and didn't do shite except become a billionaire and fly around in her private jet. I don't have a problem with that but don't act like you care when you are THE person in the world that can do something
Her ticket prices clearly aren't high enough. She needs to bump it up considerably. Also, if I was her I'd be livestreaming that shite to a nearby parking lot and charging $50-$100 a pop to watch it. I'd be fleecing the sheep until there was no meat left until I found out my real value.

For tonight’s Nola show? That’s awesome!

Daughter is on her way there as we speak… bought her tickets last year and only paid $400 for floor seats…

I went for my wife last night and came to a couple of realizations. 1) Taylor swift isn’t cool 2) she doesn’t think she’s cool 3) she’s a regular person writing about her life and being not cool 4) regular, uncool suburbia sees a bit of themselves in someone just being herself
I agree with you - she is a very good songwriter/storyteller she puts on a show. Never been to her concert we scored a code had tickets but ended up selling to a friend so he and his daughter could go. I am not sure I could handle the screaming near fainting spells when she reveals a new dress or hearing the chords to the surprise song.

She’s shutting up and singing. I thought we liked that

Lol the classic “yall hate women” response. Think for yourself for just once, my friend. You might learn something new. I guess it’s much easier to pretend there’s not a problem. I guarantee you a ton of these women spend SUBSTANTIALLY more time thinking about Taylor swift than the actual Lord above. If you think thats normal, hip, and cool. Fine, can’t help ya.

The non thinkers reply.
I have absolutely nothing against children who are big into Swift. She sings teenage music.
But the adult female "Swifty" thing is objectively cringe worthy. Like 35 year old white men men rapping.
