Fwiw I don’t think he will have a big impact on food prices. If he can just get the wall built, throw out as many violent illegals as possible, put in some conservative judges, and send way less money to foreign countries I’ll be satisfied.

This has been the status quo for both sides, particularly since the 2008 steakhouse pact at the Caucus Room on M Street.

prepare now then to be dissatisfied.
BTW, consider (I recall you to be a deep thinker) that none of the things you listed there will or would affect your quality of life nor that of your loved ones.
you have been told to hate “others” when actually…all you need is love (and a free market)

Oh I don’t hate people, but I don’t have a problem getting rid of known violent criminals who are here illegally. They can go be violent somewhere else

am skeptical of his resolve, his competence and his mental state. Again, will likely hurt others but not likely me. if hurting people is his plan thru intent or thru indifference than yes, again I hope he fails many people think that the POTUS is far more powerful than he really is, because Donald trump thinks he should be.
Well said
Can’t speak for others but I’m not hoping he fails unless his failure would ultimate help America in the long run
Thinking he can’t help but fail/expecting him to is not the same as rooting for him to fail.
My quality of life most likely won’t be affected either way as I don’t need the government to be on my side to have success. I just feel for others. If he does manage to make my life worse, then he super fricked up

A while. But he will immediately attempt to get the ball rolling. Unlike the idiots in offense now.

We may be drilling more than ever before as Biden has said but don’t forget Biden and his administration went to war on oil “big oil”.
They said they were going to war. Their "war" didn't result in lowering oil production, though. They posted record production, breaking Trump's previous record.
The thing y'all have got to remember is that past a certain point it doesn't matter. Oil producers are only going to let prices go so low before they pull back on production or introduce some other mechanism to keep prices from falling too far.

Sure, get rid of them though. And if here illegally they should still be sent back. I don’t truly expect tens of millions to be exported, but we can do the best we can. It’s the right thing to do. At the same time, better our immigration policies and make it easier to come here.

No, he doesn't know that because he's been brainwashed by his talking heads.

I assume pretty quick. That was the whole thing, Biden raised them so Trump is coming into office to lower that shite.
And gas prices will not go up under him. That's a fact.
Pretty much, on January 20th everything will be perfect again.

Who are my talking heads? I watch CNN and read the Shreveport Times. I guess them?

He won’t do much. He’ll blame Biden like Biden blamed him. Like every politician blames the one before him unless they are from the same party.
Yet we sheep believe what they spew and we accept it.
Regardless of party.
We need a real third party in this country that represents us 60% in the middle.
it'll never happen. people are foolish and believe that all the problems we currently have are the other party's fault. so every 4 years they convince themselves that voting the same way they voted last time will fix things if they win.
Republicans have been president for 32 years since 1960, soon to be 36.
Democrats have been president for 32 years since 1960 as well.
both have ruined this country, together. it is the plan. they disagree on social issues to divide the public, and then agree on the things that actually matter when it comes to protecting corporations and lining their own pockets, middle class be damned.

He promised on the campaign to get prices down and fast. I would expect we see groceries get cheaper and closer to 2019 prices by the summer of 2025. Even Trump acknowledged he won on promising cheaper groceries so this is important.
You do realize Trump’s entire economic plan was bullshite, right? Tariffs are inflationary and will harm the American economy in a multitude of ways. Mass deportation will be inflationary. Crashing oil prices will destroy American oil and gas production. The entire thing is bullshite.

As soon as diesel prices come down. If you got it, it came on a truck.
