Had to have a tooth extracted Tuesday morning. Really wanting a stogie and some whiskey tonight, but don't want to get a dry socket cause I've heard they're painful. Mouth feels fine today. Anyone have any experience with this?

My dad used to be a cigar and pipe smoker. He had some dental work and they told him he couldn't smoke for three weeks. After the three weeks he never went back to it. Give it a try.

Give it 4 days. Dry sockets hurt a little.

Have your boyfriend shotgun it to you.

Consider it foreplay.

Duckduckgo says 24-72 hrs. What does your search engine say?

Give it a day, or 2 if you can hold out. Pull from the opposite side of your mouth and take it easy. Slow, soft drags.

You're actually supposed to pull from the opposite side of the cigar. Pull from the burning end so you don't have to suck as hard

Unless it's a wisdom tooth, why do you have to have a tooth pulled? Just brush your teeth.

I will just pop pain meds until it heals itself before I go back to the dentist for a dry socket
