The 4th of July is very weak compared to the New Year's fireworks that go off in my neighborhood.
I heard very little fireworks and it was all infrequent and random and I was up until near midnight.
The one that was the loudest and had many neighbors coming out to see what the hell was going on was around 9 p.m. on the 3rd. Apparently someone drove down the street and tossed what sounded like an M-80 on steroids out their car and it set off a couple car alarms.
It really sounded like a transformer blew, but we still had electricity and the transformer is on the pole directly in front of my house.

There seemed to be alot less Fireworks in my area the few days leading up to Independence Day and also last night compared to previous years.
We were talking about this last night. Usually people are shooting fireworks 2 or 3 days before the 4th. This year, if they were shooting them we didn't hear them and then last night there were some, but nothing like New Years or the previous years. I heard a few pops right before 11, but it was nothing compared to previous years.
There is a 4th of July celebration where I live that has a band, a water parade, a fireworks show, etc and I passed by there around 7PM and there wasn't nearly as many people as usually. I know its hot but its hot every year. I guess people are on vacation IDK or maybe I am just getting older.. IDK.

About 12:30A. How late fireworks are shot is directly related to how much alcohol is consumed.

About 1:00am but I didn’t mind since I have insomnia and was awake anyway. They actually had some pretty impressive fireworks.

Same and I have no idea. I've always been really good at sleeping for whatever reason, so they wouldn't bother me either way unless they were shooting them right outside my bedroom window

It rained here. No fireworks

I live right across the river from Cincinnati. Popped all night. They’ll be back at it tonight and tomorrow night. I have to sleep with the dogs in the basement for a few days. Decent folks on our side of the river stop around 11:00. Plain jerks across the river don’t care about dogs and other animals that are frightened by the fireworks.

About 10:45 here
I have no problem with the fireworks. My dogs on the other hand....

My subdivision went quiet at 10pm. One of my coworkers said he heard it until 3:00am.
Ryan McGee told a funny story about watching the fireworks show years ago at the Cary HS football stadium. He said when they set one off it just sounded different. Heard a guy say “oh damn” and instead of the fireworks going up into the sky, they got about 25 yds up and headed towards everyone in the stands. He said he knew it was bad when he saw the volunteer fire fighters running away from the scene instead of towards it, lol!
