That would be my high school girlfriend. She swore she’d wait on me faithfully while I was stationed in Germany. I wasn’t there a month before I got the Dear John letter. As for how she’s doing, last I heard she’d ended up marrying some guy who was a manager of a Captain D’s. She ended up being barren so they adopted like five Mexican kids. Some time after this he was busted getting his dick sucked by a high school girl at work. Now she lives in a trailer with the Mexican kids (I think the oldest ones may be adults now) living off a combo of welfare and what little child support he can provide at his new job as a convinence store clerk. Far as I know she’s never worked a day in her life.

She married the 6'6" college football TE that seemed like a pretty massive upgrade over me at the time.

Now he is fat af and is an OL coach at some shitty HS.

I win.

This isn't the one that got away, but the girl who I lost my virginity to married a 6'8" black guy that played D-2 college basketball.

I guess my wiener wasn't enough!

i crushed a poor girl's heart before i started dating my wife. i knew that i wanted to be with my current wife more, so i broke it off and started dating again in about 2 weeks. felt pretty chicken shite, but i didn't want to cheat. she let me have it after she found out and i let her. right before we got married, she kinda made another small plea about how we were meant to be and dropped it.

My most significant relationship besides my 2 marriages, the last I heard he is married with some kids. Livng the life his parents designed for him. Very glad we did not work out as I would be very bored in that role. I don't think of him as the one that got away anymore. Just very glad for the life I have.

Not sure but she made the best decision ever breaking it off with me.

One ex is married. She seems to be doing fine and I have no regrets.

Another ex moved to Vermont and I haven’t talked to her in years. No regrets.

She's whoring it up. Probably in Whoreville, which is the capital of Whoretucky.

If she is like a couple of my exs, she was probably commuting prior to renting the U Haul.

The GF I had in high school before i met the one who became my wife.

incredibly fit from years of karate. D's showed up early in life. Would do absolutely anything in bed. Any time we were alone, there was something sexual going on. Finally had enough of dealing with her mom and broke up with her.

Saw her about 15 years after graduation and she had to be pushing 250. Looked A LOT like her mom.

Glad she "got away".

my current wife more
I referred to my wife as my current wife once. I was introducing her to some folks that I had not seen in years, I could tell by the look on their faces they were a little confused that I was not with my ex.

I dont learn quickly, but I learned to not place any adjective in front of the word wife. Not current, new, or second.

I am FB friends with most of my ex's. Wouldn't trade them for my wife. I wish them all the best.

I'm not sure how you guys consider some girl living in the trailer park to be 'the one that got away'?

One of mine is a pharmacist married to a lawyer, she had legs for days. We still see each other randomly through other friends now and then.

The other has her masters in engineering and married a Naval officer. When she went to USC (La) it never would have worked anyway.

I'll take my wife over them now though so I'm happy.

2 that I consider "got away".

One I saw recently randomly and she looks to be about 20 years older than she actually is. On her second husband and knowing her first, I can understand the premature aging.

Other gal is looking pretty decent still. Ran into her several years ago and a few days later got a FB friends request. Noticed about 6 months ago that her relationship status went from married to single, for whatever that's worth.

that's exactly what happened. Everyone thought they were a weird pair when they got together, but it was a person who was ok with getting married and popping out kids which is all she ever wanted. Her obsession with her parents was really intense... even now her husband is non-existent from most pictures. All of her pictures are her, their daughter and her parents at holidays, outings and vacations... he is literally nowhere to be found. it's bizarre.

I have a buddy with your name that lived the exact life you explained until she "got tired of being married" and left
