Because we are pissed at following behind them going slow and holding up traffic in the passing lane. We then take stupid chances to get around them.

also don't understand it from an actuarial/risk-assessment standpoint. Maybe on the face of it testosterone-fueled driving seems more dangerous, but only in the context of having to dodge and avoid the estrogen-fueled head-up-arse driving.

The insurance industry is pretty damn good at this stuff. If they say it's more risky, it is.

Young women are less likely to get a blowie while cruising at 75mph.

Right.

But what if the opposite were true and women brought more risk.

You think they would get away with charging them more?

I'm not just referring to insurance. It's weird how sometimes it's okay to discriminate in business if there are facts and stats to back it up, but it's not always okay. Where is the line drawn? How is it determined that insurance can do this, but other business lines can't

Yeah I understand your question, I just don't know the answer across all categories.

I guess using well defined group data should be acceptable when individual "underwriting" isn't possible/feasible. For example, you can't refuse to hire someone based on their race since it's very easy to make a decision based on the individual himself. However, adjusting insurance rates by sex or race should be acceptable.

I am smarter than you are and your response to my statement proves it.

If my statement is ignorant, that proves you are saying everything in the past few years that black culture groups like BLM and other have pushed are ignorant. Because yes, They want to be separate but equal, yet it is "racist" for a white person to be proud to be "white".

So Thank you for proving the hypocrisy of your post, in your post as well as everything the black culture movement has dont over the years.

I'm pretty certain you aren't as smart as you may think you are. Just as stupid as your initial statement. That and pretty narrow sighted. Your statement is ignorant pure and simple.

You can try to equate it to BLM groups but the point of the movement is to state "Our lives also matter just as much as the next person's life of a different race". Sadly, people like you don't see that. Yeah, there's a few bad apples that make that hard to see but there's bad apples within every race/ethnic class or group.

Black people, just as any ethnic group im sure, want to be treated equally across the board. Yet separate respectively by culture, or background, or whatever else makes a ethnicity unique in its own. Its not racist for a white person to be proud of being white. Just as it isn't of an asian person who proud to be asian or a hispanic person who's proud to be hispanic. Maybe YOU and a few others think others think its racist to be proud of being white.

Either way there is no hypocrisy in my post, just you being ignorant and seemingly racist in your interpretation and mindset. Just own up to it

Yeah, I do. I'm sure they're would be an uproar though, just like there obviously is with men.

And what perks?

Black dude at my work put other lives in danger, and was written up. Another white dude forgot to clock in and was fired. Black guy has 3 write ups, white guy had a clean record.

You tell me what perks minorities have.

Because statistics back it up so it's not discrimination. Just like teens have higher rates due to statistics and actual loss experience by the insurance companies. Women also pay less for Life Insurance because they live longer. Men pay less than women for Health Insurance because women have more medical issues, statistically speaking.

My question is do you have any sort of education at all?

I've been ran into from behind (no homo) 3 times in my lifetime. All 3 were women.

I have been wondering about this for years. I also don’t understand how it’s legal to have women-only gyms.

Because you don’t have a right to insurance or being a member of a gym. Just like the BS with the baker and the gay couple.

A simple law would stop that. Just pass a law banning community rating for auto insurance. Everyone pays the same for the same coverage.

I mean, it worked so well for health insurance.

If insurance companies want to tell me that men are involved in accidents at a higher rate than women because there more men on the road, then fine, but I will never...EVER, buy into the "women are better drivers" bs.

Group plans don't have price discrimination

Individual plans used to until ACA banned that

I remember when my stepson turned 26. He was single. At the time, so I thought, his premiums should have dropped like mine did when I turned 26, also single. However, his rate stayed the same. I called my State Farm office and asked them how come his premiums didn't go down like mine did. His answer was the insurance market had readjusted the age to 30 for single men. I ask how come. His reply - more single men were driving in that age range because of dating. I told him I know just as many married men between 26-30 that was hustling pussy on the side than I did single men doing the same. He laughed and said "you're probably right".

Stepson is now 43 and still single but I hope his insurance eventually went down.
