Illegal for 99.9% of the civilian population to own.

What makes it "military". And what is the difference between semi auto "assault rifle" and a semi auto hunting rifle? A lot of hunting shotguns and rifles are semi auto and can fire just as fast as an "assault" rifle. Is it because you can attach flashlights and crazy crap to an "assault" rifle? Is the pistol grip "more deadly".

But aren't there some guns that are just assault weapons?
If I beat you with a stuffed bunny it would be considered an assault weapon.
It's how you use it. All my handguns are defensive weapons.

Full on stupid I see.. "Military weapons" are select fire and are fully automatic.

It's the bayonet lug that really makes them dangerous.

I am asking why you need a weapon that is designed for military use but been scaled back from fully automatic to semi automatic?

Outside of the necessities of life (Food, Shelter, etc.) why does anyone NEED anything? It's a retarded question.

The military has huge 4 wheel drive vehicles, why do I need a scaled back version of that in a 4 wheel drive pickup?

Your rights end where my nose begins. I think by not answering a simple question you demonstrate a woeful ignorance.

I'm going to take the barrel of my rifle and shove it up your arse... it will be known as a sexual assault rifle.

Those vehicles are not practical and many are not street legal but by all means continue your point. BTW, they are not weaponized.

Can you find me a firearm that wasn't initially designed for military use?

Please note, the first 10 amendments are called the "Bill of Rights" not the "Bill of Needs"
We don't "need" lots of things, but we have the right to own them.
