I see organizations moving to a more segregated workforce along gender identity lines.

You don’t think there are quite a few businesses out there that will find a reason to not hiire attractive women to avoid some extra liability?

OK.

I can tell you right now I already am against hiring attractive women. Women as a whole scare me to hire because you never know.

Maybe if women can't get hired they'll realize how much more fulfilled they are staying home and raising babies

Are y'all scared of this because you can't conduct yourself in a professional manner when a female is in the room?

How hard is it to just not flirt, harass, or touch a colleague?

I'm assuming you're the type that whistles and cat calls a woman in public.

The problem is that they can just say you did it without proof and it will frick your career up completely. For instance, a powerful business man had a good relationship with one of his female employees. It wasn't sexual and they didn't get too personal, but when she wanted a raise, because her husband is a loser and can't pull his weight, and it was declined, she raised hell about sexual harassment, sued and won.

Another incident was with a lawyer that was boning his paralegal. He was married, she was single. She played on his problems at home and initiated the whole affair with a bj in his office to help him relieve stress. After three months of random incidents that totaled to about 8, he broke it off. She sued him and won. He had text messages and emails to prove that she initiated every single sexual encounter, but she still won

No. Seriously, they were told to me by some business colleagues years ago. I'm talking 2003 or so.

Do you have links for those examples?

Because the #MeToo movement is exposing people in the public sphere, and it's very rare for an accusation to not be substantiated.

You're being very naive about this.

Women can be just as "unprofessional" in the workplace as men. They can and will flirt in the workplace with zero repercussions most of the time.

Yet if a guy makes the mistake of reciprocating in any way, she can cry wolf and have that man fired.

Adults are perverted fricks. Don't act like everyone walks around as robots. I've had numerous women at my workplace make remarks to me, that if they went the other way could easily be reported as sexual harassment.

These were told to me, 2nd hand, by business colleagues circa 2003. One happened in Tuscaloosa and the other in B'ham.

What were the remarks?

hiring an attractive female seems like a good way to get all your male employees fired and your business sued. At what point do we see males only hiring males and females only hiring females?

Yes, this is definitely an issue at every company all across America.

The hyperbole on this site is astounding

It's not the attractiveness of a woman that I worry about. It's the ones that want to act like one of the guys. I've been friends with them in the past and still am to an extent. But when one drops an off color comment, I do somewhat get worried about what's going to happen one day. I'm smart enough to not make a deal about it, but some play along and as soon as someone wants to screw someone over, they have the golden ticket.

Don't blur the lines of being a co-worker and a friend unless you're very comfortable with that person. That is advice to live by well before #metoo.
