Sounds good to me.
Except for the inevitable chafing.

I probably wouldn’t enjoy myself

3 or 4 days of hiking is enough for me

That’s an odd trade.

We all have our preferences. Not really for me. Hiking in beautiful areas is like a small slice of heaven for me. Really a no brainer

Average is probably close to 6 months for a full through hike. A month would require a trail runner and full logistical support.
I have done several of the section hikes 5 with my wife. It is a lot of fun but I am not sure I would enjoy a full through-hike toward the second half. I did the Virginia 100 twenty years ago and it took 9 days, not sure how I would have fealt if I was not even 5% done.

You wouldn’t last six nights.

It sounds like a good way to get eaten by a bear or murdered by a filthy drifter. You could just get lost, fall down an embankment and have to saw off an appendage before the starvation takes you. Enjoy.
