Ran 18:12 for the 5k good for the 4th best runner on the X country team. Finished 2nd on the team more then once as the #2 through #4 runner were pretty close. I am sure I ran faster on some of the flatter courses but I only remeber my time from the Home course.

They have a distinct track meet for my son's Catholic school, and even though he's the fastest kid by far they make him long jump. He won it last year and the meet it this Thursday. He sad he jumped 13'8" in practice. Not sure how that ranks for 3rd graders though.

Top 4-5 among the white guys.

Maybe cracked the top ten among the black guys, but they couldn't hit a baseball so it didn't matter.

Do you really expect people to believe this BS? 10.9 100 if it weren't for "shin splints"? 4.6 40? Might want to check the NFL Combine times. You'd be in the 93rd percentile. You could have played pro ball! Did you shoot below par at Augusta National and have a 96 MPH fastball too? Liar

Probably was around 15th in the 40 on the football team in high school. Had a couple of future NFL players in that group.

Eh, I could believe him. I am not some ultra-gifted athlete by any means, but when I was a little kid, I played against a future starter on an NBA championship team in addition to a future Heisman candidate/long-time NFLer; I played quite a bit of youth basketball and football against another guy who was in the NFL and would have had a much longer career if things had broken a bit differently for him. I was a scrawny little white kid who was just barely good enough to credibly step on the court with these guys. It depends where you grow up and who your competitors are and what the leagues are like.

Well, you "believe" him because it sets the stage, and, I guess validates in your desperate mind your own, even bigger bullshite story.

Amazing odds! You played against an NBA champion starter and a Heisman candidate! Incredible odds. Certainly, in the playground in your mind, you hung with them too! Someone please seal the woodwork to stop these idiots from continually embarrassing themselves.

Shoot, I'll even name them for you:

Rajon Rondo
Michael Bush
Brian Brohm

It's not that unusual, and we were all around the same age and grew up playing in a lot of the same leagues. If you play sports in a community that produces a lot of good athletes year over year, it's not terribly uncommon. I would suspect that if someone grew up in Memphis or Houston or New Orleans or Cincinnati or somewhere similar, they'd probably have a similar experience.
