My fastest 400m was a 52.5 and I think my 100m was mid 12s and 200m was mid to high 25s. Not great speed, but adequate.

Decent for a short scrawny white boy. Me and a couple of my pale companions trained with the track team one spring trying to improve speed. The day I ran a 4.9 40, I felt like I was on top of the world. It really did me a lot of good on the scout team at football practice. I could sprint over to the water cooler faster than some.

I was clocked in the 4.7's but I really doubt that hand timing was accurate. After seeing combines over the years I am thinking I had to run closer to a 5

What about the following:
* weight room warrior
* first to arrive and last to leave
* very coachable
* great teammate
* all-heart

Okay fast. My 5A,4X2 team won state my senior year. I wasn't fast enough to make it to state in the 200. I was around 22.3 in the 200 thou. Always came 2nd to Devery Henderson

Summer before I started high school I blew the doors off the fastest 200m guy in the district before spring practice one day. Broke my ankle a few weeks later and then blew my knee out first week of the season. Fastest transition from RB to DB in history.

I didn't care if it was accurate. Sub 5 for a white guy who was 5'7" and 160 lbs was awesome.
