Currently i am 16 miles from work and around 30 minutes each way. Thinking about moving out of state and the only jobs in the current field i am in would be 45-60 miles from the area i am looking at properties. Biggest con i see is the amount of miles i would rack up on my truck but if the pay is the same or better and i get to live in the country i will just suck it up.

35ish miles, 45-55 minutes. Not too bad, mornings are fine, some afternoons I'm ready to be home about halfway there and it sucks. Listen to a lot of podcasts. Commute when I lived in Atlanta was 30-40 minutes, I think 20-25 minutes is the sweet spot for being not too far but also having time to decompress

If I leave home at 7:40, I can make it by 7:59.

I'm about an hour each way, Sirius helps quite a bit with all of choices of different types of music and talk radio.

Now it's around 25 minutes, but for my first 3 years with this company I was driving 45 miles one way - so around an hour. It wasn't that bad.

About 13-14 miles. Takes 40-50 minutes in morning, about 35 in evening.
