I’m calling bullshite on the part about not being able to visit a doctor. Until recently my wife worked at a school and had the same insurance as the teachers. Their insurance is far and away better than anything offered in the private sector. And that’s in Alabama.

Netflix, 70” TV on the wall, a 70 months of payment Lexus, eats Mcdonalds 5 times per week, wears ON shoes, new Apple Phone, new Apple Watch, drinks Starbucks daily etc etc etc

This. It is one of the only industries where you can be completely shitty at your job and make the same pay as the person one room over who works extra hours and puts in 150% effort for YEARS. Also, it is one of the only degree required professions where you can graduate college with a 2.1 GPA and still get hired at the same rate of pay as the person who busted arse and nailed a 3.8 GPA. If you major in accounting or engineering and have a 2.1 GPA...good fckng luck.

My sister (no pics) who was a teacher in St James Parish was forced to get a Masters Degree late in her career.
She got a nice $30/month raise for her efforts.
The real problem is too much of our tax dollars used up on worthless administrators that should go to the teachers salaries.

Public sector unions should be illegal. These unions fund the election campaigns of these politicians, virtually always leftist Democrats, then once elected those same politicians are in charge of negotiating with the unions that paid to elect them.
