Among other things he typed out a letter and went to all caps 3 sentences in and kept it that way for the rest of the letter.
All joking aside, he has a way with words. He was able to effectively construe his pain into the letters to the point that it was uncomfortable for most of us to continue.

Jeez. I wrote something almost this bad when I was 16 and it worked. Unfortunately for Michael, this can only end with finding your girlfriend screwing a 20 year old, albino, National Guardsmen while you're tripping on mushrooms.
