I must be odd because I do both 6 & 8 depending on the word or checking a box.

Was taught that in 8th grade penmanship.

With a pen you dipped into an ink well in a hole in your desk.

Whole class was exercise in humiliation. Girls got A. And their work deserved it.
Struggled with C and finally B by end of year.
