I just got my 5th alert in the last two days for this girl in Birmingham. Now it’s a Sequoia instead of a 4-Runner.
I’m confused because the news this morning said they had a suspect in custody and the vehicle was found.

They usually only send one, but for this girl in Birmingham they sent 4. Seems a little excessive when the only info they give you is black child in a Toyota 4-Runner.
Not sure about Androids, but on iPhones they don’t give enough info or even a link to get more info. Many times the info is including a town so far away it doesn’t make sense until you see alert with proper info stating they had been seen nearby or had known family or associates in area. Besides needing a pic on persons involved I also need a pic of same year and model of most vehicles. Admittedly the actual alerts may be limited to texts, but you think there would be a way with phones to automatically link to website at least showing details on most recent alerts based on area alert sent out.

Why do we need that stupid shite anyways?
Do you really need someone to explain why a mass text in an area alerting to a missing child is helpful?
What percent of these things are itra-familial custody type issues? I think it's a pretty huge percentage.
I'm not necessarily condoning THAT, I'm just not quite sure why all of society needs to be involved in it.

I hardly ever get them anymore. I didnt mind when I did, if I can help it's not an issue.

Suspect lateral passed the girl to another kidnapper as he was being taken down.

I think that's why there have been so many alerts for this girl. They're operating under the assumption that this was done by a complete stranger. This isn't a situation where grandma has the girl and they're watching Spongebob right now. This girl is in pretty serious danger.
I agree with you though. When mom or dad has taken their kid to wherever, I probably don't need to know.

If it is an iPhone go to settings, Notifications and scroll to the bottom and turn off
