I find the sound quality on satellite radio to be shitty considering you are paying for it

It also seems to have a good bit of commercials too, even though a ton of them advertise other Sirius stations

I typically use pandora when I want music in my car

Whatever happened to just playing music in the morning? Now it's a damn talk show on every station. I just listen to Spotify in the mornings and usually listen to AFR in the afternoons only if Scona is hosting, all the others are dull and boring.

Condon makes the commute home nearly unlistenable.

In the few days I've gone without Sirius I have turned on his station in the afternoon. Haven't heard him once. Just the hole teasing what is coming up. Then they transition to Slow Ride or some other awesome song.

Our buddy did. Wife wanted to send you flowers. I told her I'd bring y'all a muff when things calm down. Going home today?

104.5/104.9 Culotta and The Prince (7am-9am) is a decent choice for LSU fans. It is a bit of a LSU athletics slurpfest but I like them.

I rarely listen to radio. Pandora, Spotify, ESPN Radio app entertain me.

Just saw a post in the Las Vegas driving thread that Pandora has audiobooks. Gonna check that out.

I like Jordy a lot. He's a good dude. But I don't give a shite about what some high school kid might do with regard to his college commitment. LSU based talk radio is terrible.

That's my point. I don't know how anybody listens to this stuff.

I listen to Elliot in the morning on the way to work.

I flip between 95.7 and 96.3 all day in my car.

Walton and Johnson?

I'm fairly certain hell is listening to this show 24 hours a day. They are god fricking awful.

My Sirius sub ran its course and expired (credit card was stolen and the auto renewal didn't go through) So for the last five days I've listened to regular radio. It is abominable. Walton and Johnson? Kid Whatever? Some hole with Richard Condon?

I switched to ESPN a couple of times but it was commercials. Same commercials I have heard for 20 years. I like all of the guys at ESPN, they just aren't good at radio

I love Sirius/XM so much that I would likely pay ridiculous amounts to keep it if they raised their rates. It's worth every penny. There is always something good to listen to, and better yet....commercial free.

I don't find sirius all that great either. I love Howard Stern but my commute is short so I rarely get to hear whole interviews. However, it did come in handy on a road trip this past weekend.

That's what internet radio is for. I have a sirius account for my truck, but I also have for internet radio. Its full of awesome.

This. My drive to and from work is about 7 miles and takes about 15 minutes. I drop my daughter off a daycare in the am, she talks the whole way about Barbie, My Little Ponys and Sofia The First. I drive home in absolute silence. Only peace and quiet I get all day. F a radio.
