It is obviously impossible to perfectly describe it, but I think part (maybe most) of our belief in God comes from our conscience. I believe we an develop a conscience with virtues to be pretty incredible. Animals do not have near the ability we do to take it so far.

Right now, you are asking questions that are far deeper than simple does or doesn't God exists. And they really aren't worth diving into with someone who doesn't believe in God and Christianity.
