Go drive around or put on LSU football always worked in my house. One of the many reasons I am divorced, took anger for Ex out on the TV, woke the baby and the cycled continued.

Put them in the car seat and drive around for about 20 minutes. Puts them right out.

My 3 weeks old sleeps great from 6am to 8pm. We’ve started to implement a routine in the evening hours with eating, bathing, then bedtime and it’s helped us get a good 2.5-3.5 hour stretch of solid sleep. After that all bets off.

ETA: swaddle does help big time.

Schedule schedule schedule. Routine routine routine. You can’t be selfish when you have a new born.

Our little girl is about 6 months.

Had to feed every 2-3 hours during first couple weeks. Then she would wake up on her own every 3/4 hours. Eventually she slept 5-6 hours at a time except for that 5 week sleep regression at 4 months. That was fricking awful. She’s now sleeping 8-9 hours straight.

Leave them in car seat also. Will sleep all night. My two kids slept in car seats every night. They would sleep all night and you didn't have to worry about them. Just put car seat on floor next to bed and good night

Baby swing always worked like a charm. Do people still use these?

Did this from about 2 months and the results were amazing. Same exact steps every night. Have modified now, but still the same idea every night.

My motions were so routine if I were a south Mississippi deer I would have been dead by the 2nd weekend of hunting season.
