A friend and I were in his backyard. The yard had a chain link fence and we were standing well away from the fence and road. Two Mormons came peddling up and stopped to talk to us.

My friend very politely told them "I am Catholic". They said thank you very much and beat it out of there. It wasn't like they were in any way or should have felt threatened. Ever since, when I am approached by them (only a couple times when I don't see them coming first) I just tell them I am a Catholic.

Works like a charm every time. Maybe they are taught that there is no way to convert a Catholic and not to waste one second trying. The only thing is that I was raised Baptist. Hope I'm not committing too big of a sin by lying to them. Plus, the last 15 to 20 or more times I have stepped inside a church, it has been a Catholic church.

Had them keep coming to my house even after I told them not to come back. They woke me up off a dog one time to many. I answer the door in my birthday suite. Was the last time they came.

Maybe they know that we Catholics aren't real Christians and don't know how to read the bible so there's no point in trying to get us to read a new one.

Subtle brag. I don't even have a birthday closet.

No offense but the white van speaker scam comes to mind when you explain your business model

Invite them in. Listen to them try to explain how we are the same. Ask them if they believe the bible. Then ask them to read Galatians aloud thus disproving their entire religion. Then watch them try to explain while trying not to turn on each other.

I tell them that I'm not interested and close the door. If I'm doing something where I don't want to be disturbed, I don't answer the door.

Are you new to our planet?

I'm agnostic, but I have never had a problem with the Mormon missionaries. They are always extremely polite and respectful. I treat them the same way and actually had a few good conversations with them.

I had a boss that was Mormon when I was in college. He was a great guy.

You just give out people's cell phone? I just don't answer the door. Jehovas usually come on Saturday's when they do come.. Sometimes I will be in the living room where the front door is located. I will just keep doing what I am doing like they are not there, I figure they will get the point at some point.

I tell them:

Ah yes, how politely passive agressive you are by not-so-subtly insisting that they're not Christian despite them believing it so.

After I answered the door with my M1911A1, the Moron missionaries did not come back.

When I see them through the peephole I answer the door quickly then tell them all about my faith and beliefs and try to convert them before they get a chance to speak. It's a nasty curveball that they aren't looking for

When I see them, I usually take off my clothes and anwere the door in the nude.

The women usually get this horrified look on their face and immediately walk away. The guys sometimes mumble a few words and walk away.

It's great, I don't have to say anything but "Hi. Can I help you?"

Gonna have to video it next time.
