The craze about 10 years ago was jewelry parties. Some bored whore would make gaudy looking crap with a kit then sell it to their friends. The ex would come home with crap she'd never wear and out $100. Couldn't say no.

I'm with an Asian now and they read right through that crap and have no qualms with hurting feelings.

We're taking the 4 kids to Gatlinburg and Knoxville for the game in a couple weeks. My girlfriend selling R+F to friends and family is helping pay for it.

Y'all should've just started a GoFundMe for your trip and linked it to your family and friends on Facebook. It's basically the same thing IMO.

If you are hocking Rodan and Fields, Young Living, Pampered Chef, etc...you are not a consultant. You are a pyramid scheme sales person.

After seeing a giant sticker on the back of a Murano, I asked my wife what Rodan and Fields was and she had no idea.

I was very proud that she's not a basic bitch.

Wife’s old friend caught me in a Team National presentation!!

I did pretty well containing my bewilderment. These were normal people sitting in my house eating take out and drinking a beer. Normal nice couple. I kept thinking “can y’all stop talking and let’s go outside and drink a couple beers”. Don’t see how people get stuck with this.

The worst part is their entire personality and life gets filtered through whatever shite they are selling.

Just last week I had a friend post a pic of her with a new car she just bought and the caption was something like “New Buic Lacrosse! Can’t wait to see how many boxes of [whatever crap she sells] I can fit into the back!”

They all seem very cultish and the only people who comment on the posts are their other friends who sell th same shite they do

I’d like a Rodan and Fields for men. It’d sell dick pills, fishing tackle, and mail order brides.

Here's what I don't understand, at what point does a business owner say:

I have two options:
1. Traditional retail
2. Bored housewives

It's one thing 20 years ago pre Internet, but you don't even need brick and mortars anymore.

It's a result of these women not setting out to accomplish anything for themselves. Maybe they had kids early or just wanted to be kept. Either way, a few years down the road they realize hey have nothing to show for themselves. These companies prey on that. They give these women a feeling of self worth and a title to fill that hole.

You've got the idea, now you just need the get-up-and-go. Everyone knows all the real money is at the top of the pyramid.
