I use unread work emails as a "to do" list

I currently have 53,430 unread work emails (in my deleted box)

But 99% of those, I am just cc'd in on. I sort by sender and delete them.

I've received 75 e-mails today at work and 20 on my personal account. I've received 4 text messages today. Which sounds easier to keep up with?

I do the same thing, but just with my inbox as a whole.

I keep my work inbox caught up very well, so if I am caught up and something is in my inbox, that means it's something I need to do or on occasion I'm waiting on an answer that is time sensitive, so I leave it in the inbox so I see it as a reminder to send a 2nd email request for an update if I need it quickly.

I have one cell phone number.

And I have 5 separate emails to keep up with.

That’s how for me.

I bet spam calls. But I get 100x more spam emails than spam calls.

I'll scan my folders a few times a day. Though updates are off.

honestly feels like texting can be kept short and sweet while emails require more detail and attention

Oh absolutely this.

They're literally the same thing
Wow, there's lots of literally misuse in this world, but this is the one that should be used for every example moving forward. What makes it worse is, you know you're wrong.
