Kind of sad. Kids used to wear leather and ride motorcycles, grow long hair and listen to metal or hitchhike around the country and find themselves. Now, it's being a communist.

We wanna be free! We wanna be free to do what we wanna do. We wanna be free to ride. We wanna be free to ride our machines without being hassled by The Man! ... And we wanna get loaded. And we wanna have a good time. And that's what we are gonna do. We are gonna have a good time... We are gonna have a party.

People that think that way have zero desire to excel at anything in life.

The idea that anyone can make as much money as they want to should be amazing to everyone.

With that being said, a person still wishing that everything was spread out across the people more are literally the most lazy and pathetic people on earth.

In theory, there's a big difference. But in reality Democrats and most Republicans in DC are both in favor of growing government. They just disagree on what to spend more money on.

Communism preys on emotion and drives the narrative of egalitarianism throughout all facets of life. It distorts the term “equality” in the American sense and turns it into something alien. It combines large swaths of people and puts them into two camps and drives the narrative of “us vs. them.”

In Marx’s time it was the bourgeoisie vs the proletariat.

They’re interested in doing away with history, because it doesn’t paint them in a good light, it actually shows that before the American experiment, communism was actually practiced the world over just without the name. Communism is one of the oldest forms of governance in the world, constitutional republicanism and capitalism are two of the youngest and best forms of governance that men have ever come up with.

They may have been right on the European spectrum of governance. Europe has never had the type of government that America has, Nazis would be considered one or two steps away from Communists on the American governance spectrum, that’s how left they are.

I didn't put this on the poli board because its not a political question. It's common fricking sense that people on both sides of the aisle should agree on. I mean every communist society has resulted in failure with most having some sort of genocide involved with it, whereas the most well known capitalist economy is the greatest nation to have ever existed? How do people argue against this?

how would you classify our treatment of Native Americans in the 1800's? What would you call Slavery?

Naked, unregulated Capitalism is just as dangerous as Communism. Look at the working conditions in the steel mills and factories of the USA at the turn of the 20th century. That period of time was as close to unregulated captialism as we have ever been.

Both economic systems exploit the common worker for the gain of plutocrats

Also, there's a difference between Socialism and Communism

Socialism is what you can accuse BHO and HRC of promoting. Communism is a whole other ball of wax

For the record, it’s the true Marxist destroyers that have convinced all of us that the only two choices are capitalism and communism. Both choices allow an elitist cabal to thrive while the masses suffer. Capitalism just so far has proven better at promitting materialism, which also serves the purposes of the Marxists.

This has nothing to do with capitalism nor communism. You are talking about imperialism.

Likening capitalism to anarchy is as dumb as likening capitalism to communism.

As does socialism.

Stepping stones. BHO and HRC are socialists, because pure communism still isn't politically expedient here, yet.

a very necessary evil. We should give the creatures of the middle East the same treatment. Vanquish the savages. Btw we treated them no differemt under capitalism than the Brits or Spanish treated them for 300 years before that so i don't think that's a mark against capitalism and the way you know that the free market correct itself is how we realized what was happening at the turn of the 20th century and took steps to fix it and were able to without a massive civil war. Another sign that capitalism works.

They been down so long it looks like "up" to them.

Peasants in Russia were chattel.

They were already being told what to do.
After revolution the smart ones got mds and engineering degrees.
Its relatively better than feudal society under tsar for most of them.

Ditto Chinese. Grinding poverty for most, Bowing to emperor and capitalists alike.

Slovakia kept socialism.

I wasn't talking about how the governing body work. I'm speaking more towards the success of communist China since 1949 as compared to Capitalist America in the same year.

There's negligible differences really.

that's pure delusion

Yet it was better than anything previously

Capitalism is nothing more than a series of transactions by private individuals. There's nothing evil about that.

American Slavery wasn't capitalist. It was an aristocratic agrarian economy.

if there was little benefit, the common worker would have never left the fields to work in the factory.

I don't think this is true. Some argue that Socialism is better than capitalism, but I never hear that argument for communism.
