Waking up dead is even worse.

I have 2 sure fire ways of staying awake...1 is to fap and the other is to stop and buy a pack of redman gold and chew tobacco.

I-49 gets awfully lonely at night.

I've had many instances of being up 24+ hours and then driving. My go-to was always sunflower seeds and nicotine. I made the 22 hour drive from central CA to Ft Worth once after partying the night before. That was probably the worst for me.

Ive had to fight falling asleep on the road a few times. I do a good bit of highway driving for work and if I pull off and take a nap I'll get bitched at.

The number one best way for me to stay awake while driving tired is to Chew/suck on ice. I'll get a coke from the gas station slurp in down and chew on the ice for a couple hours and it will completely take away my tiredness.

One time I was driving with a friend coming back from Clark creek. We smoked a quarter of Reggie. I woke up going 40 in the right lane of i12. We were both sleeping. Another time. I'm in gulf shores. Supposed to leave at like 8 in the morning. Party all day until 2. Get on the road. By the time I hit mobile I'm struggling. Then once in miss. I drove through one of the most torrential rains of my life. My adrenaline kicked up after that.

There is a period before you fall asleep where you have trouble keeping your eyes open. I don't understand how people ignore this and keep driving.

It can hit you faster than you imagine. Worst is for people who work nights. There's a period just around sunrise when it becomes nearly impossible to stay awake and you fall asleep with no warning.

d you sue the school for that B.S.? or was the reason you didn't get back until late your fault? Could you have ridden the bus to and from said game

Lol no I didn't sue the school. It was varsity football so we had to ride the bus there and back, and it was a good three hour trip on the bus.

I did this stupid shite recently, and every thought about it is scarier than the actual episode. Drowsy driving is a no no...

I was working offshore. My boss had me on 17 hour days for seven days. Cum bucket actually shorted me a couple hours too.

Anyway, I was driving home, started to pass a car, then the next thing I remember was being woken up by an 18 wheeler's air brakes coming in the opposite direction. Apparently he saw me drifting and was kind enough to save my arse.

Hate to admit it, but it happens to met at least twice a month. I've found that i'm more likely to dose off if i'm on the road between 2pm-5pm, rather than at night.

Drove 27 straight hours from the Poconos. Had to drive through a blizzard in Pennsylvania so lost a lot of time. Anyway, I got to the Atchafalaya bridge and I felt like I was already home. Don't know how long I dozed off for. When I woke up I seen two 18 wheelers coming straight at me. I freaked out and swerved a little. My first thought was how did i get on the wrong side of the bridge. After I caught my composer I realized it was two cabs being towed by two other cabs.

Heading to Houston around two in the morning, I must have been around Iowa. Im approaching a car that's swerving left lane to right lane every few seconds. I made my move when he swerved to the right and gunned it.While I was passing him up I took a glance. Homeboy was passed out with a map on his chest. I honked violently for a few seconds but to no avail. I didn't want h to wreck into me. I always wondered how he fared from that and wondered if I could have done anything else to wake him up.

Because they work the night shift? I would often see double when driving home from the hospital after a 12 hour night shift. I really didn't want to pull over and sleep on the side of the road.

You are aware that you are dangerously tired before you fall asleep. Try again.

You would rather kill someone. Got it.

This is the same as, I really didn't want to call a cab, so I drove drunk.
