How do people end up this way?

Waiting on the SO (no pics) to come out of the Hobby Lobby on College. There are homeless looking vagabonds just hanging around outside the building and apparently one of their employees is a transexual pirate (not there’s anything wrong with that).
At one point in life does someone say “frick it I’m near the bottom I’ll just stop caring and hang out around hobby lobby all day”?
ETA: the guy ringing the bell for the Salvation Army is laid back in a chair looking like a homeless guy with a bell. Pretty sure it’s his own personal red pot.

After hitting rock-bottom, I only hang around outside of Williams Sonoma stores.

In portland they have set up tents like that..which somehow have electricity to power tvs.
Its fricking pathetic. I wish they would round them all up and force them to take showers while feeding monoxide through the air venting.

It’s a sickness. They don’t get there overnight. Mainly drugs or alcohol abuse and lots of our veterans end up that way from PTSD and doctors prescribing addicting pills in which the patient gets hooked. Happens to many citizens. After they’re unable to afford the prescriptions they turn to the street versions. Homelessness and poverty are then right around the corner.

First off the guy ringing the Salvation Army bell looks homeless because in all likelihood he is homeless. They use a lot of shelter residents to ring bells for Christmas.

I like to aggressively clean the windows at the Boston Club with moistened newspaper. Usually one of the members feels sorry for me and stuffs a few shares of Berkshire Hathaway into my outstretched palm.

Addiction is bad to the bone. Pride says no way, but anyone can get smacked off their rocker with a bad enough life or poor decisions. There’s always a way somebody can lose it.
