Off course E.T. life exists. It won't look like us or anything we can imagine most likely. It also hasn't been to earth.
We exist by random chance the universe is too big for the same random chances not to have happened elsewhere.

The correct way to approach such things is to look for evidence that does not support what you believe to be true. If you only look for evidence that supports you, you can convince yourself of damn near anything.
I agree

You do realize the alien from "Meatballs" was not real, right?

The universe is billions of years old. So if the chances for intelligent life are high due simply to size then certainly they would have existed 3 billion years ago as well. And if so where are they! Shouldn't they have colonized much of the galaxy by now? Yet we see no evidence of there civilizations!
So if they couldn't do it 3 million years ago why would today be any different. Where are they? Why don't we pick up any alien signals. Hurry up I want to watch some alien tv shows!
That's like a Native American thousands of years ago not believing in Europeans because he hasn't seen them.
Plus, I'd say the fact that our planet is hospitable for us doesn't mean it's hospitable for every other species. It'd be like putting an Anglerfish on dry land or humans at the bottom of the ocean. Our planet being hospitable to a random lifeform across the universe is slim. Sure some probably could, but I'd say that at least 98% wouldn't be.

There could even be life in our own solar system. Jupiter's moon Europa.
Mars could have it as well. The planet is actively producing Methane, and we know for a fact that the planet is for all intents and purposes dead. Only life is a viable option that we know of, although it could be something else we aren't aware of.

Anyone who says they understand how large the universe is doesn't understand how large the universe is. It is truly incomprehensible to the human mind. But the fact that Earth just happens to be the only planet out out of the literal quadrillions of worlds in the universe is asinine.

I mean how ignorant and narrow minded do you have to be to believe we are the only living creatures in the universe? Seriously I wanna know which dumbasses actually think this. They deserve a punch to the dick.
They are more worried about that lame pokemon crap than more important things...

I think the new, accepted vernacular, is interstellar

Atheists: Need physical evidence for God. . .believe in aliens because "they just gotta be out there"

Not only as you said, but by the definition of "non Earth Alien" (as opposed to Miguel and Maria kinda aliens) then God and other biblical beings (angels/demons, seraphim, cherubim, etc.) would be extraterrestrial aliens. So lil green men are O.K. but commonly accepted God and spiritual beings are "make believe".
I think Don Lemon would enjoy interviewing a lot of atheists since they contradict themselves so much like him.

3) If there is alien life then we are going to have to limit our discussion to the milky way galaxy. It's pointless talking about what's going on in other galaxys because under no circumstances will intelligent life ever be able to travel between the galaxies.
I reject that stipulation. I believe humanity's current understanding of physics and travel is limited and likely misunderstood. We simply have not had time, as a species, to formulate the necessary understanding in order to superseded light speed, etc.
I believe warping of space time and folding of dimensions is possible, we just don't know how to do it yet. We don't even understand how those facets exist or function.

There are extra terrestrials. This isn't some "belief" - this is a fact.
And, there is a 99% chance that they have visited here and provided some early civilizations with some type of assistance.
There is no excuse for believing that there are no ET's.

I think there are definitely other “beings” in the universe and to not believe that is foolish. There are trillions upon trillions of planets.
Also, I think its foolish to think any of them have visited Earth. They would have a total different evolution than Earth and would most likely be organisms or blobs or something. The idea that aliens have 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 eyes, and a mouth/nose just like us is so fricking hilarious.

I suspect that we will find that Mars was earthlike millions of years ago and had life. Just as we find remnants of ancient civilizations under the desert dirt, the red dirt of Mars likely conceals sophisticated civilizations.

There is no scientific basis for your assertion. I'm a certain that there is humanoid type life in the universe, and in more than one place.
And, we have had alien visitation.
