How do OT Ballers pick a Real Estate Agent?

Full Disclosure: I am a new real estate agent in BR area and I want to know how do you guys pick your agent?
Word of mouth?
Family Member?

They had a realtor in Houma that got in trouble a few years back for having sex with clients in houses she was showing. Wish I had jumped in on that.

Depends how difficult the property I'm trying to sell is. For example, I just listed a property that was basically going to sell itself. Just wanted a realtor to deal with showings and guiding the process along. I just got a buddy to list it.
If it is a property that is going to take a little more work, I'm going to find out who has sold similar property recently and go with them.
Nobody in my family is a realtor.
