How do I get an Amazon refund?

Paid a few bucks extra for one-day shipping on a desperately needed item. Item is not arriving until tomorrow which is the same as standard 2-day. Not returning the item because I need it bad, so is there a way to get the extra money I paid back?

Mail them a letter describing the incident. Be sure to include a self adressed stamped envelope inside so they can write you a check to deposit with your local bank. Expect 8-12 weeks for it to process. Truly an amazing cutting edge company!!

You dont get a refund.
If you have Prime , they give you a months membership credit every time you report a package is late.

Seriously their customer service is top tier. One time I had to return a SSD. So I took it to UPS. They refunded my AmEx as soon as they saw that it had been shipped. I thought it was pretty cool that I got my money back before the package even left the UPS facility.
