How do I convince my mom to NOT move to Louisiana?

She currently lives in Colorado. Her reasoning for wanting to move to LA is
1. Cheap housing (its cheap for a reason!!)
2. Low cost of living
2. Good weather and humidity
3. Living by the ocean
Ive told her that Louisiana is ranked the absolute worst state for a reason. She lives with my aunt who is mentally and physically disabled and my little cousin who is gay. My little cousin HATES the idea and says shes scared to move there.
She says she'd rather live there than Oregon (where I live currently) or anywhere else because she can get a bigger house for her money. I just need some good reasoning from actual residents on why this logic falters and why people typically move away from LA, not to it. Thank you.
Edit: If you like LA, I am happy for you. I genuinely mean no disrespect towards anyone who lives there. But surely you can understand my concern with a mother who is getting old, an aunt who NEEDS good healthcare and social programs, and a cousin who is like a sister to me that hates the idea of moving. I live nowhere near Louisiana and we have no family there. My mother is 60. You don't know my family like I do. I don't mean any disrespect. There is so much more at play here than can be explained comfortably in a Reddit post.
Just wanted y'all to help them.

If she don’t have a lot of money why shouldn’t she?

If she likes to fish, that’s a plus, but it’s not like there are nice beaches for swimming and sand castles. Mainly it just exposes you to the constant threat of hurricanes and tropical storms.
The roads are awful. Every time I travel out of state, I get mad when we get back in Louisiana and encounter torn up highways with litter on and around them.

What if she has impeccable grammar?

If this is what I'm looking for, I'd just go to Mississippi.

Has she spent more than 5 minutes there?

It depends on where she moves in La. If it’s anywhere other than the extravagant paradise of Shreveport or the tropical oasis of Lafourche, then I wouldn’t do it.

based on what i read here on a daily basis, it sounds like she's moving to either new orleans or baton rouge.

Is this how a Reddit liberal from Oregon expresses an “antiracial” concern about blacks making up over 30% of Louisiana’s population versus just 2.4% of Oregon’s population (or just under 4% of Colorado’s)???

I live in La but I was thinking the same thing. Some nice towns along the Gulf that would be better than the coast in La

Leaving Colorado for Louisiana?
Some people need to make mistakes in order to learn. Let her move.

The weather and humidity are not good unless you enjoy swamp arse

I don't know or think politics has anything to do with it.
As a life long Louisianan who has been to 41 states and 2 countries, I think I would much rather stay in Colorado if given the chance.

Isn't the actual number around 38+%? I think only Miss has more

I think it's more about living in a very nice place vs living in a shitty place.

2. Good weather and humidity
For starters, I’d get her definition of good weather and humidity. If she loves humidity, then by all means. But something tells me her definition and ours are way apart.

Also need her definition of “ the ocean.” I assume she means “nice beach ocean,” and if so then LA ain’t it. She’s better off in south Alabama or the Florida panhandle.
It also really bothers me that he can’t even count to four.
