This.

You give up a lot of sleep and a lot of your own wants and desires, but it’s definitely worth it.

The worst thing is that you're emotionally vulnerable and worry about them frequently, especially when you hear about terrible things happening to other kids.

I find this is worse for me now that my daughter is almost a teenager because she's old enough to stay home alone and not always supervised anymore.

Some babies do not sleep much

I've always been blessed my child is a good sleeper. Naps and sleeps well through the night. As a infant he always put himself to sleep without needing rocking. Only problem nos is he wakes up every freaking morning between 5-6 am with a massive dirty diaper. Kid is like clockwork with his bowel movements. I'd prefer he slept in a bit and saved the mess for daycare.

Constantly having to plan car rides, lunches, dinners, etc. around the baby eating. The first baby didnt change much. The wife and I were still able to get out the house alone sometimes to get some quiet time. Now we have 2 kids under 3 and you constantly have a kid attached to you, asking 2000 questions, mostly consisting of the same questions.

I would do it all again in an heartbeat and I know people out there that would give just about anything to have this.

People that say money but I don’t get that. Newborns aren’t free but they’re not that expensive.

I’d gladly pay 10 times what I do now for more sleep.

Wtf y’all buying these kids?

I forgot about daycare. My wife stays home but that shite is expensive from what I hear

I don’t get it!
My wife is a stay home mom. She’ll have plenty of time for sex.

Yep, mine is 15 and I'm worrying about her going off to college. Even if it's close to home like BR or N.O., maybe especially.

Driving lessons right now. The most dangerous thing she'll ever do, drive.

Like everyone said the first year is brutal, it’s constant work and attention. I hated it and so did my wife, we will not have another kid because of it. My daughter is the best thing that happened to me, she saved my life.

Kids are not that expensive, they eat very little and are happy with cheap toys. If you make over 60 k you won’t feel it too bad.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a father?
My first child is due in 2 months and I have been counting the days.

Lost all my freedom, marriage went to shite, always tired. I find myself staying at work late just to avoid the hassle of home life.

On the bright side once they get to the age where they can communicate and learn stuff there are some good times but your life is pretty much over. Don't worry though once you have kids you'll have regularly scheduled family pictures to make sure everyone else thinks you are happy.

The first few months were really really hard but it’s been getting steady better each month. Newborns are just exhausting and not fun.

Once they can interact more it gets better but still tiring

Young kids definitely cut into sex life. It doesn't have to go away though. That's ridiculous.
