Is there any significance to this line of questioning? I mean, my family is significant to me, but they aren’t others. They have actual names. I call one mom, another dad, and still another brother. I also have many uncles, aunts and cousins who are very significant as well. They also have real names as well. At the moment I have no significant wife or steady significant girlfriend, but I can’t imagine I’d have them long after if I began referring to them as an other, even if i preceded it by calling them a significant one.

You simply can’t make this shite up.

Every possible permutation to eventually have siblings and cousins frick each other is in-play here.

OP: We knew each other in High School, she was a year behind me.

Christmas break of her college senior year we met at a local bar while both home and it was on.

During Reagan’s first term.

We actually went to a tiny high school together and I noticed her back then (2005ish) and thought she was cute, but she was 3 years younger than me.

We both went our separate ways and had relationships through college and after, until I just happened to be single and browsing FB when I was 31. She popped up on my suggested friends list and I thought "damn I recognize that name" and when I saw her pics, I realized it was the cute younger girl I went to school with.

I added her and we began halfway talking and flirting when I realized she was recently single, and this went on for weeks before we met up in person. When we did, it was like a bomb dropped on me and I hadn't experienced anything like it before.

It was a strange feeling knowing this woman had been there 15 years earlier and caught my attention, but was SO perfect for me and so much like me. She's literally my soulmate - which I didn't believe in before - that was there the whole time.

We both wish we had met on a date sooner, as it would've saved us both some major heartache and time. Her ex was an abusive POS and mine was a scatterbrained addict, but neither of us had been married before or had kids.

We got married when we were 33 and 30, and haven't looked back since. I didn't believe in true love or soulmates before this woman, but it's like we were made for eachother and reserved for one another. Not to mention she's a SMOKIN HOT gymnastics coach and I can't figure out how she wasn't locked down before me. I hit the jackpot.

As a result I urge any single folks out there to just keep looking, because it'll show up when you least expect it and aren't trying so hard to find it. I didn't believe there was anyone out there for me and I thought I was a loner until she came along, now she's all I want to spend my time with.

I don't care if that's not "OT masculine", I'm a fricking believer now.
