You look at your doctors chart and the attached photo looks like your dad.

I'd be jealous of all you old farts saying you felt the same in your 40s as you did in your 20s if I believed it even a little bit.

I'm 47, work out in the gym 3 days per week, work in the yard every week and I do not feel 27 or even 37

Look no further than professional sports for the information you need. These are people that take care of their body for a living. In most sports, they are past their prime by 32 or so. In pretty much every sport they are past their prime by 37.

I was talking to someone in their mid-20's when I realized I graduated from high school … before her parents were born .

Age decline isn't linear but more like plateaus followed by drop-offs. For me one drop-off was in my late 40's. I just had another one in the last year or so (66).

38 when I tried to pick my one year old up out of crib one night and threw my back out and had to go to urgent care for steroids and opiates. It's all been going downhill since.

The difference between 35 and 45 was just a number and less strenuous activities. The difference between 45 and 55 was hitting a wall and realizing it takes a lot of actual effort to stay active enough to just slow down the snowball you speak of.

When I realized the actors in my favorite shows from childhood playing older adult parts were at an age younger than I am now

Approaching 80 and I honestly don’t feel that old. Somewhat unstable on my feet at times but otherwise in decent condition. Still work full time.

I give all credit to being able to come on Tiger Droppings every day and you pip squeaks keeping me young.

A lot of your shite is wrong at times but as you get older like me you will look back and realize I’m right.
