Are you kidding me? The guy told everyone on TD that he was a judge and he was posting confidential details of an adoption case. That's unethical and maybe illegal (I'm not familiar with the law regarding that). I'm extremely happy that someone figured out who he was and exposed him. I'm even happier that it led to his bribery being uncovered.
Don't forget, he was a judge in my home state. Getting rid of a corrupt judge where I grew up is an occasion to be celebrated, and I'm grateful to whoever doxxed him.
Imagine how the families of the nursing home victims feel. Think they give a frick if someone destroyed the corrupt judge's sports forum anonymity?
On top of the obvious unethical behavior and illegal behavior, the guy simply did not have the character that is befitting of a judge. That was obvious from his posting habits.
He deserved everything he got.
The fact that this is even remotely controversial kind of speaks volumes about this place...

Did anyone answer the OP.
He was 'caught' by Theron's PR rep/assistant. Snowballed from there. He was being investigated for the criminal shite as well. But her rep person found this site via tip or searching like any good assistant should for an A-lister.

There is an ethics hour continuing legal education seminar given by the Arkansas judicial review board (or whatever they call their disciplinary arm for the judiciary) and they talk about him in it.
If what they say is accurate, he was actually stupid enough to call the judicial board ahead of time to check and see if there were any special precautions he needed to take in order to protect the identity of the confidential celebrity adoption taking place in his courthouse in the upcoming days. He blabbed to them about the identity of the celebrity, and so they began googling Charlize Theron and adoption. Bam...they uncovered his posts here about the adoption within days of him posting them. They were able to confirm his identity because of all of the other shite he had posted about his life.
When they really started digging into his posts, they found lots of troubling things. Aside from the loose lips he had about cases in front of him, he made many pejorative statements about women in divorce cases (he presided over divorce cases) and other sexist remarks. Rape jokes. The usual for here really, but not a good look for a sitting judge, particularly when combined with his failure to keep his mouth shut.
In the CLE, they show many screen shots of his posts--not just the ones related to the adoption, but others. At one point, his post had "CSB" in it. The guy giving the CLE asked if anyone knew what that meant and of course it flew out of my mouth without thinking. Which led to him saying, "Oh...if you know that abbreviation then maybe you will know the next one." Which led to me having to yell out "put it in her butt" in the middle of the seminar. Which led to me having to explain why I knew that to my colleagues from around the country. It would have been slightly less awkward if I weren't female.
That is awesome.

Once the media took the adoption story, geauxjudge was posting details in the comments of said story.
The assistant saw it.
The dude wamted to get caught.

Well at least the nursing home patient wasn't seen undressing through a peephole

Sweet sweet justice. What a fricking moron
Yep, so will the cases he's judged have to be re-tried? I'd imagine the web you'd have to unravel here would go waaay beyond this one case.
