Are you implying that cameras and the ability to broadcast and receive electromagnetic waves didn’t exist in 1969?

The tech to get people to the moon certainly existed then: math, rockets, and knowlege/tech to keep humans alive in space.

Now, I have been told that the movie making/special effects tech that would have been needed to fake it didn’t exist at that time.
