Currently 9 with wind chill of -7. Last night was 0 with chill of -21.

I can tell you this it’s brutally cold in this box stand among these Mississippi pines now that the sun is behind them. Upper 20’s with wind whipping. Here’s hoping something walks out so my smoke pole can do some barking.

Our local met said the temp would be “plummeting” thru the day here in Orlando., lol! So much for that theory. I know it will cool down, but for it to get to 30° by 6:00am tomorrow it’s going to have to start dropping now and go down 34° in 12 hours. Color me skeptical.

Currently 30 with 20mph winds. Yesterday afternoon I was fishing in my kayak and was nice.

Earlier today was -11 with a windchill of -41.

I stood outside in it for a minute or two. Very cold. Painful.
