How can I tell if the shingles in my yard are from my roof?

So, we had the storm and there are a few shingles in my yard. How do I tell if they're from my roof or a neighbors? I don't want to get on the roof. My roof is only a few years old, so I doubt they're mine.

You’ll know as soon as the sun comes out or you take a flashlight to look at your roof.

Go outside right now and shine a flashlight on your neighbors roof to be sure they are his. Make sure you are holding a weapon tho. and wear a hoodie

Climb up on all your neighbors roofs and if they aren't missing any shingles they're probably yours.

I'm assuming your roof has a low pitch and you cant see your shingles. Because if you can, its pretty obvious where they are missing.
