How can a college grad make new friends in this town?

Im getting bored sitting at home or going to walgreens. I need to make some more friends, and maybe meet some girls through them. How can I meet people here? My job sucks and no one does anything. Im open to new hobbies. I would also like to meet people who go to Bulldog, ivars, or places like that.

Against my better judgment, I'll answer you seriously.
It's stupid easy to make friends in Louisiana. I don't think I've been to a more friendly state.
Just go to a bar frequently and you'll make friends.

I have lived in Baton Rouge my whole life and I would suggest picking up a hobby and try meeting people at the bar. Ivars is a great place to meet people. If your into biking I would also suggest riding along with the biking club. Super laid back and very friendly people. Ride alongs often include sipping on a beer
