re: How badly did the women's lib movement ruin marriage for men?

woman complains about man = they want some fairytale prince
men complain about women = facts
the difference is that there valuable societal incentives for women to marry; they do not have to worry about divorce or losing their children etc
there are absolutely zero societal protections which exist for men getting into a marriage

Bruh... I'm not on the same team as SS and rocket. Not even close.
But I do think marriage is a bad deal for the average American man, as described in the post you replied to. And you're right about "trashy," the majority of Americans are trashy.

Great movie

no doubt
which is why it should never be an easy decision for man and I have no idea why someone would get married if they didn't want kids

Anything domestically then?

There's a ton of truth in this post. A friend of mine used to pitch for the royals and despite the fact he had been dating his now wife all through college and into the pros, the moment he signed a big contract, these sluts just came out of no where. It was awesome for me but, we couldn't go anywhere without these women making his wife extremely uncomfortable. Is there an app that tracks the where abouts of these professional athletes?

These are societies list of expectations:
We have to pay the bills.
We have to grill/cook.
We have to up keep the yard.
If the house gets dirty, we may be expected to clean the house as well.
We have to help with the kids and such.
We have to appear more devoured and be the constant romantic.
and yet the women still aren't happy.

On one hand, men who marry women with careers don't get the special treatment of having a house wife (dinners, laundry, cleaning and tidying during the day) and often have to do some of that workload, or pay other to do it.
On the other hand, them working means a wife who could be making equal to or more than you, and more money is always a good thing. Also less stress at work since if you get fired, you still have her income.
Which do you think is better?
Unless you're ballin out of control I don't see why you would prefer less money

Agreed. Definitely prefer the wife to be working in some capacity.

Approximately 50% of marriages end in divorce. Of those divorces, approximately 75% will be initiated by women.
Let's not go too far down the special snowflake not all women are like that attitude. Women are humans that respond to incentives. Current economic and social factors in the U.S. heavily incentivize women to divorce.

Not always. At least not in the context of marriage.

It is provided you do your homework before actually getting married. I get that some women don't go off the deep end until years later and I won't dispute that but several signs can be noticed if you pay attention.
