WFH doesn’t work for me. I get cabin fever in less than an hour.

My yard is still packed with powder, but the lord’s glorious sun has been putting in work on the streets. I’m hoping to drive into the office tomorrow. I don’t have any bridges or interstate to traverse.

I’m even thinking about Boosieing into the office if the streets ice over night.

I don't think the roads will be safe Thursday either. Not enough is getting melted off today, and the sun is setting in 45 minutes

I’m impressed with how much the sun has melted the snow on the cement, given the current temps.

I can’t WITS. I noticed this week that my dominant wardrobe is lacking in snow shoes.

I saw a cool video of a dude ice skating with a hockey stick and puck on Canal street from either last night or this morning.

I can say the same in New Iberia per my last dog walk.

Still a lot of slush and mush on the roadway. I have small car with 218,000 miles. I think it's wiser for me to stay home for now.

FWIW, the NOLA forecast is for the temperature to get above 32 around 8:30 a.m., and mostly sunny, with the temperature getting up to 41 by noon. Based on what I saw today--surprised how much / how quickly things melted--I think by tomorrow afternoon most NOLA streets will be pretty passable.

Of course, other drivers will find 101 ways to show that they're idiots, so be extra careful.

Lot of melt but streets still very wet and now icy.

I’d say if you don’t have to cross any bridges, should be good by noon maybe go to office for a half day on the afternoon?

Roads are impassable until it is announced on Thursday that teachers and government workers have Friday off. Then the roads will be safe for travel.
