Easiest job in the world, it’s a 50/50 chance of rain. With the exception of the last 10 days, where it’s rained everyday. It should be a best guess forecast!

What happened?

Cozart on KLFY10 is usually pretty good, but he was on vacation this week…

They can get a pretty good forecast from the NWS data. How do they screw that up?

I can give you the forecast in the summertime..hot, chance of thunderstorms. Not everyone gets wet but those who do see rain could get some heavy downpours..rinse and repeat for the most part til October.

Best 2 weather forecasts that I’ve heard came from the BR market, WAFB9 I think years ago, Paul Gates(was not a weather guy), I think.
1) “Might rain, might not”
2) “There’s no weather today”

Yea, I dont see how its difficult at all. I also dont understand why everyone doesnt just read the NWS forecast in the morning and look at the NWS radar throughout the day. Weatherman is obsolete in the age of cell phone internet.

Flooding. Water in my home. etc.

Well, this has been a good start for my Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day to all the Father's, anyway.

The guy with the terrible mustache is blaming the models - who he claims is still showing no rain in the area.

Maybe look at changing which model they use. Just a thought.

Most are clueless, the 2016 flood in Baton Rouge area they all missed the catastrophic flooding. Now to compensate they overhype every weather event to the point that schools close for a simple rain event.

I think some people don't realize that a "chance" (percentage) of rain is forecast for an area that they are only a portion of. A complete "viewing" area is all included. I'm certain MOST people know this but I have witnessed many that were clueless.

Rob Perillo is more worried about life threatening global warming than doing his job accurately

Where’s Ray Pardue when you need him. Back in the 60s, he was THE weatherman in Lafayette. It didn’t matter if he was 180° off and drunk on air, if he said a blizzard was coming in June, everybody pulled out their coats !!!!

Man, sorry you have to deal with that.

I’ve gotten two flood warnings on my phone this morning. Those don’t really help when the water is coming up.

Yet, the forecast was 40 percent overnight and 20 percent in the morning. Even while it is raining just about everywhere in the Acadiana area, they have a 40 percent chance of rain for the rest of the day.

I have it undercontrol right now, only about 1/2 an inch in home right now. Just worried about these storms to the South moving our way.
