You know, I’d be careful to be so quick to pass judgement on people you don’t know what their circumstances are, because you’re not in their shoes.

How about large corporations that don't have enough money saved to last months?

If regular people are punished, I can't imagine how severe the punishment should be for stockholders and CEOs that have access to the "best" financial planning experts.

There's still time to delete this.

YES! Credit risk downgrade for 3 years too. Means their credit lines will dry up(be more expensive), certain mutual funds/pensions would not be able to own their stock.

Yeah, let’s add a 2008-style credit crisis on top of what is already going to be an ugly assed recession. That’ll teach all those “irresponsible” people out there and absolutely won’t affect anyone else.

It’s incredible that some of you muppets manage to get out of bed without hurting yourselves.

This thread isn’t surprising

It's pretty weird to have an avatar of a guy from a porno to begin with but even weirder years after the "hype" died down from said porno.

Yes people should have an emergency fund, but who two months ago was saying, yep the government is going to come in and force me to shut down my business for my own good, and there is nothing I can do about it?

Seems we are short-sighted and want to bail irresponsible people out every single time chicken little thinks the sky is falling

So the government who’s bailing out the banks and corporations closes down the country & the citizens are at fault?

You’re not very bright.

So you think the credit bureaus know what checks you cash? Ridiculous.

Ever had to pay over 100K in salaries and other expenses every month (along with other major biz expenses) to cash flow a small business? Two months with zero revnues will cripple the most "financially responsible” b/c they want to make sure others are taken care of before themselves. Loans to keep 10 families afloat can be a HUGE burden inthe long run. Perhaps you should think before just posting your nonsensical dribble on the Internet.

There isn’t a business that can survive on three months of zero revenue
