I have been pretty unimpressed with HEB meat quality.

Any other recommendations on grocery to buy meat from, I have heard Randall's above average quality.

Go to the Billy Joel thread and have him ask one of the fatties around him.

Do yourself a favor and have them ship you a Chicken Swirl or two. Get you also a bottle of Mr. Ellis Seasoning.

Marks Mart/Chicken Swirl

Whole Foods has the meats and the yoga pants. Central Market has the meats and a very disappointing female shopper group.

I get all my steaks from the farmers markets but I’m north of you. Way better quality.

Cinco Ranch and no I don't do prime normally. Unfortunately I am only a six figure poor instead of you 7 figure OT ballers so I shop accordingly.

Certain occasions I will get prime steaks. HEB choice beef has been garbage on top of very expensive.

Maybe I am just use to LA beef prices.

Grocers in Montrose used to have the best meat quality, but it’s since been gentrified.

I've had luck at the location in front of Seven Meadows. I live closest to the Royal Oaks location and it sucks. I work in Cypress so usually hit one of those.

Buy prime at Costco. It is prime and a fair price.

Central Market, or Costco in Houston are good. The Bellaire and Kirby whole foods have disappointed me lately.

If you travel up north of the loop, B&W will cut you anything you want and will even age it for you if you ask.

Pete's near the galleria has great options as well, but is a bit on the pricy side.

They may not have the usual cuts you are looking for, but Seiwa market has excellent meat and is a personal favorite and worth a drive to the west side.

I have a Sam's membership from when in LA, is it worth switching over to Costco?
