Back on topic TH03,
i will quit replying when you watch the "animated generalization". LINK.
Are the police reports false? Is the HPD Chief lying? were you there at the crime scene and able to provide more insight to the incident than the rest of us and those involved? i'll wait on you Alpha dog. :-)

It said they lived in that Houston house for 20+ years. Hard to believe they're hardcore criminals that just stop on a whim/don't get caught for 20 years.

Really no different than those assuming it was a no knock warrant.

I read the report. Your video is pointless since:
The video is for people who can't read and visualize in their head.

Although...
Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo said the drug raid on the home stemmed from numerous complaints from neighbors. He said undercover officers had previously made two purchases of black tar heroin from drug dealers at the house.

You're in an absolute melting frenzy because someone dare suggest another motive for the homeowner opening fire other than he's a drug dealing thug who wanted to kill cops. All while you unrionically tell me that it's useless to argue because I've made my mind up.
I've never once argued that had these people survived, they would be anything but fricked in the legal system. I've never once argued they were right in firing at police.
I've simply stated a possible reason why the guy came out guns blazing.
You're in a tizzy and won't listen to anything that disrupts your narrative of what happened. Just take a break and come back without being all emotional. You cry like this everytime you try to argue with me.

Just so I understand: A bunch of people break into this guy's house without warning and shoot his dog; he goes to the back, gets a gun, and shoots back at them; and there is no evidence of the drug he's accused of distributing? Is that right?
Not a good look.
Not a good look.

I have seen nothing that confirms or denies whether they announced their presence.

They didn't find the drug the tip from a neighbor said he was selling.

I called it what it is, man. Sorry it offends you to have someone disagree.

They apparently sold to undercover officers. I’d say that’s evidence.
However it wasn’t found in the home.

I'm sure a criminal will wait for you to load your weapon when they break into your house.
Especially in the "sketchy" neighborhood that this board described as little Tijuana or some such, before the, "Now imagine she's white!" moment.

I watched the initial press conference from outside the hospital and it I found it odd that the chief seemed to defend the point that not only did they announce their presence but also the other cops on the scene there to assist them turned on their lights and sounded the siren. I thought is somebody questioning this already? It almost seemed like he was covering his tracks.

Based on everything I've read in this thread, here is another purely speculative possibility....is it possible this guy has younger relatives or friends that he allowed to sell from his house on weekends or something? Neighbors complain because of the in and out traffic, etc. Undercovers make a couple of buys, and then when they raid the place, the real drug dealers aren't there, thus no heroin is there. Prolly not, just speculating.

Playing devil's advocate here: So they sold their only heroin to an undercover officer, then had no evidence of heroin in their home?
Also, why weren't they arrested for selling to an undercover officer? Police wanted to wait and make the arrest at their home?
