Houston drivers are out of control

agree. we live in the burbs now and i try to avoid going to downtown if at all possible because mofo’s drive like assholes.

Thirty years ago, the bane of Houston Driving was a combination of road construction and little old very short drivers of a certain ethnicity.

The road construction slowed traffic to safer to survive a crash speeds.

The old short drivers (identified because you could only see the tops of their heads) were slow drivers. They've died of old age. Their replacements are younger, taller and faster and can see holes in the traffic to speed up and aim their cars at.

I have been a truck driver for going on 23 years. Been to every lower 48 state and to every city in the country. I moved away from Houston 20 years ago.

Houston drivers are the absolute worst I have ever seen in this country followed closely by California.

Excluding the illegal qualifier, every state in the south has a higher uninsured motorist rate than Texas. Almost certainly more inbred citizens per capita too.

Drivers in Houston do indeed suck, though.

Galleria and 610 is a shite show everyday

You can always drive through New Orleans East and see if you survive getting shot at….

Fun fact: that section of 610 has the highest interstate delay in the entire country.

I-45 north is also regularly in the top 10 most dangerous roadways in the country.

All that said, I-285 in Atlanta is the fricking worst facility I have ever experienced.
