20+ downvotes for a stimulus that actually addresses the needs of the people but the same post for the Trump tax cuts, which resulted in peanuts for 95% of Americans, received mass upvotes. Funny shite.

This isn't just stimulus. Yes, there are direct payments to most Americans, but there is also funding to open schools, to pay for production and procurement of vaccine, a large % to state and local governments to help assist them with the shortcomings in their budgets due to the impacts on tax revenues over the past year (benefits YOU), and unemployment benefits for those who lost jobs.

This is great news for recovery...and no, I'm not getting a check.

Would you prefer local and state tax increases to cover the budget gaps? If not, you should be thrilled this passed.

It’s also funny how no one seemed to care how those tax cuts increased the deficit.

If you call wealth transfer "stimulating the economy", sure I guess.

No, it doesn't. It let's about 5% of the richest in the country keep more of their own money.

How come you never bitch about corporate welfare and unneeded corporate subsidies?

I kept more of my own money. I'm not in the top 5%. Try again.

Define corporate welfare, and give examples. And let me give you a tip: tax cuts or tax deferments are not welfare.

Ditto. I made more money and paid less in taxes.

mmmmbeer only parrots approved progressive talking points. He won't bother with your link because it goes against the party narrative.

Yeah, giving the gov't more money is always beneficial to the citizens. How about you just leave us all the frick alone and let us go about our lives making money and spending it
